BRAID & BALANCE AND COMPOSURE TO RELEASE SPLIT EP

December 4, 2012 – Los Angeles, CA – Influential Champaign-Urbana-based indie-rock quartet Braid have teamed up with rising alternative rock act Balance and Composure to release a split EP via No Sleep Records on February 26, 2013.  Beginning today, fans can pre-order the EP on limited edition vinyl 7” and digitally at https://www.nosleepstore.com/product/1115. After performing a successful front-to-back tour of its seminal 1998 full-length album, Frame & Canvas, during August of this year as well as making appearances at this year’s Fest in Gainesville, FL, and Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, TX, Braid are currently working on their next full-length album that is scheduled for a 2013 release. Additionally, the band will round-out 2012 with a run of dates in the Midwest with special guests Into It. Over It, Diamond Youth and Cut Teeth on December 14 in Milwaukee, Wi, December 15 in Detroit, MI, and December 16 in Chicago, IL.

Fresh off a U.S. tour with Circa Survive, Touche Amore and O’Brother, Balance and Composure will hit the road at the end of January for a headlining U.S. tour with The Jealous Sound and Daylight.
