UNCONSCIOUS DISTURBANCE is rooted in Sao Paulo, Brazil as far back as 1996, when drummer Daniel Freiberg and guitarist Patrick Caracas met and began playing together at the age of eight. This relationship formed into a friendship that would eventually evolve into a strong musical alliance. Years later in 2005, vocalist Frederico Carneiro joined Freiberg and Caracas, and UNCONSCIOUS DISTURBANCE was born.

The trio recorded their first demo at a local recording studio where sound engineer and bassist Fadel Dabien, upon hearing the music, was instantly captivated and joined the band. Shortly after, they began to hold auditions for a second guitarist. However they soon realized a diamond in the rough—Daniel Freiberg’s younger brother, Kiko Freiberg, who would eventually receive a B.A. in Music at Bard College, was a perfect fit. UNCONSCIOUS DISTURBANCE was now complete.

In 2007, after recording their first DIY EP, UNCONSCIOUS DISTURBANCE toured through Canada, where they performed nightly to impressed and captivated crowds, as well as many great fan reviews. After this tour is when Mind’s Corner, their band’s first major studio album, first transitioned from mind to music.

Big-city chaos fused with rhythmic instrumental lines is what generates the crushing and profound sonic experience that is UNCONSCIOUS DISTURBANCE.

UNCONSCIOUS DISTURBANCE is:

Daniel Freiberg – Drums

Fadel Dabien – Bass

Frederico Carneiro – Vocals

Kiko Freiberg – Guitar

Patrick Caracas – Guitar
