(Los Angeles, CA) – RCA Records singer, songwriter and producer Sammy Adams will be performing on The CW’s 90210 tonight (8-9pm PST). Adams will be performing his summer breakout single “Only One” at a party hosted by the character Naomi.
Adams will be headlining a special show at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom on November 9th and he just released OK Cool, his pre-album (mixtape) which featured a snippet of his new track “All Night Longer”. “All Night Longer” is currently available for sale at all digital music providers and the viral video can be seen here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOmvUVDeO0I).
Adams, who is currently in the studio finishing up work on his debut RCA Records album, is featured on Enrique Iglesias’ new single “Finally Found You” which Adams co-wrote. Earlier this summer Adams premiered the official video “Only One” across VEVO, the world’s leading all- premium music video and entertainment platform, which includes VEVO.com, VEVO mobile and connected TV as well as syndication partner sites AOL, Facebook, Yahoo! Music and YouTube. “Only One” which was written by Adams and produced by J.O.B, is currently available for all at all digital music providers.
Earlier this year, Adams debuted the music video for his first single “Blow Up” on VEVO and made his nationwide television debut on Conan.
25 year old Sammy Adams hails originally from Cambridge, MA and currently lives in New York City. Classically trained on piano since childhood, his interests grew into producing and later into singing / rapping. It was while sitting in class at Trinity College (where Adams was a political science major and captain of the soccer team) that he came up with the idea for his breakthrough single “I Hate College” — a cheeky remix of Asher’s Roth’s “I Love College,” which he recorded in his dorm room. Adams independently released album Boston’s Boy shot to the top of the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart on its first day out in March 2010, selling nearly 8,000 digital copies that week and outpacing albums by Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled. His independent viral videos have garnered millions of YouTube views, including “I Hate College” (6 mil) and “Driving Me Crazy” (3.4 mil). He performed over 100 shows and sold over 100K tickets across North America in the last year including a set at Lollapalooza and a sold out headlining show at New York City’s Terminal 5.
