Irata on Tour in November; Phillip Cope (Kylesa) Produced “Vultures” Out Nov. 6
Oct. 18, 2012 — Irata, a North Carolina-based psych-rock trio, venture out on their first U.S. tour this November, kicking off the three week trek on Nov. 2 in Raleigh.
The band release Vultures, a five-song EP produced by Kylesa’s Phillip Cope, on Nov. 6 via Pig08Pig/Silver Records. Cope has also produced releases from Baroness, Withered and Black Tusk. Vultures was recorded at The Jam Room in Columbia, S.C.
Irata is Jason Ward (drums, vocals) and Jon Case (bass, vocals). The band’s touring guitar player is John Kimes.
