THE VIBRATORS RELEASE REMASTERED ALASKA 127 AND ANNOUNCE 2012 YEAR-END TOUR DATES
Los Angeles, CA…Cleopatra has released the digitally remastered 1980s gem
from epic UK punk-pop band The Vibrators, ALASKA 127. Originally released
in 1984, ALASKA 127 is the second of the “reunion” albums, and includes
fan favorites “Baby Blues Eyes,” “Flying Home,” and “Amphetamine Blue.”
ALASKA 127 is available on vinyl and CD.

The Vibrators are one of the most storied and enduring pure punk bands
from the 1970s. Since its debut in 1976, the band has gone on to record
dozens of albums and has performed worldwide with artists like Chris Spedding,
Ian Hunter, Iggy Pop, and The Sex Pistols. The Guinness Encyclopedia of
Popular Music named The Vibrators’ debut album, PURE MANIA, one of the 50
best punk albums of all time.
The Vibrators are currently finishing a new record to be released by
Cleopatra Records in early 2013.
