For 22 year old singer/songwriter Owl Eyes (aka Brooke Addamo), 2012 has
brought much endeavour; a sold-out national headline tour, an extensive
national regional tour with Stonefield in support of the Federal
Government’s The Line initiative, and the successful release of her
third EP ‘Crystalised’. However it has been the roll out of her
acclaimed new single ‘Love Run Dry’ and finalising her highly
anticipated debut LP NIGHTSWIM that has brought the most excitement for
the young star in the making and her growing legion of dedicated and
loyal fans.

Carefully toeing the line between light and shade, night and day,
strength and struggle, NIGHTSWIM is an emotive collection of deeply
layered, progressive pop jams that only adds to the ongoing intrigue
that is Owl Eyes. Produced by frequent collaborator Jan Skubiszewski and
the recently ARIA Award nominated Styalz Fuego (Producer of The Year),
the album displays a distinct growth and maturity from her previous
efforts, a coming of age for an eerily talented artist who has developed
in the public eye over the past three years.

The lead single from NIGHTSWIM, ‘Love Run Dry’ has received strong daily
rotation from triple j, an impressive reaction from international and
domestic music blogs, not to mention the accompanying video being voted
Channel [V] Ripe Clip for this coming week.
