Sept. 26, 2012, LOS ANGELES — Between The Buried And Me unveil the first official video from the North Carolina band’s epic new album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence (Oct. 9, Metal Blade Records), for “Astral Body” premiering today via Alternative Press’ website (www.altpress.com).

The visually stunning four-minute clip was directed by Wes Richardson (www.wesrichardson.me) and builds upon the story laid out in The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues (2011 EP) and the forthcoming, 12-track concept album The Parallax II: Future Sequence.  “To see lyrics and music come to life in a video is an unexplainable feeling.  I literally am speechless every time I watch what he has done with this video,” explains singer/songwriter Tommy Rogers.  “When we decided to create a video for this song I never expected to have visuals of this quality.  Wes has done an outstanding job of taking the lyrics and creating a world that won’t let the viewer turn away.  We are very lucky to have such talented people surround us.”

Richardson, explored a design structure that would make up the creator’s dream while floating through space.  This structure is a digital blueprint of the world he once knew.  Richardson also made use of location photography, footage, and photo-real visual effects to capture the surface on the planet.

Between The Buried And Me have released a series of behind-the-scenes clips documenting the recording sessions forThe Parallax II which are viewable on the band’s YouTube page at www.youtube.com/btbamofficial.
