Contibutor – Jacob Smith

I am currently based out of Nashville, TN but initially I am from the North Georgia mountains. I enlisted into the Army Reserves as a Combat Photographer at 19 and began this crazy path of photography and life. After serving the better part of a decade with multiple tours to Iraq I got out and began focusing on my love of music and art photography. To be able to capture the raw emotion on the stage helps preserve the moment for those in attendance as well as get the interest of people thinking about seeing a show. It’s a wonderful line of work and rewarding. Even after 20+ years of doing photography this life never ceases to amaze me with the twists and turns and sheer creative brilliance I get to witness and document regularly.
