(New York, NY) -Theatrical Canadian hard rockers Incura have been confirmed for performances during this year’s Canadian Music Week festival in Toronto.  The quintet will play at The Painted Lady on Wednesday, March 20th and at The Rivoli on Friday, March 22nd.  Incura‘s stellar live show has been winning over fans one by one; Edmonton’s Vue Weekly stated, “It only makes sense that Canadian band Incura throws ‘theatrical’ in front of hard rock when defining its genre.  The five-man group…puts on nothing short of a show.”

Incura‘s self-titled full-length debut album is available now worldwide via Coalition Music (Records) and Warner Music Canada.  The album has been receiving early praise withNoisecreep declaring that Incura “deliver big hooks and will surely appeal to music listeners who dig tons of melody in their hard rock.”  Click here to check out the video for “Who You Are,” which recently had its premiere on Noisecreep.  In other news, the band’s latest single, “Turning Blue,” is currently going for adds at Rock formats in Canada.  Click here to check out the lyric video for “Turning Blue.”

With influences ranging from My Chemical Romance to Coheed And Cambria to Queen and an exotic name to boot, Incura embodies an incredibly unique array of musical styles – from metal to prog rock with elements of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom Of The Opera” thrown in for good measure (lead singer Kyle Gruninger has his roots in professional theatre).  Creating their moniker by combining the name of a previous band with that of a spell from the Final Fantasy games, Incura was formed in a small Canadian city in the Prairies a few years ago and has already toured with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, Shinedown and Apocalyptica.  Their sound is compelling, featuring epic arrangements, powerful crescendos and pristine musicianship.  Incura is Kyle Gruninger (vocals), Jim McLaren (keys), Jono Olson (bass), Royce Whittaker (guitar) and Phil Gardner (drums).
