Dim Sum - Helen & Lisa Tse book cover

Helen & Lisa Tse are third generation restaurateurs from Manchester, England, who have spent their whole lives cooking the family recipes which feature in this book.

Crucially, the Tses have worked hard to make their recipes easy to follow, and everything they feature here looks and sounds amazing, with a refreshing lack of over-fancy pretention.

From steamed buns to spring rolls, sticky rice parcels to pork ribs with black beans, and a myriad of different styles of dumplings, this is a book full of food to make the mouth water.

Unusually, there’s also an intriguing section of suitable desserts for a meal of this sort, which covers the run of the mill egg custard tarts as well as some more enticing Chinese-style doughnuts, pineapple buns and even a tofu-based dessert.
