Where's The Wookie book

In the tradition of Where’s Wally comes this fun activity book for kids – and Star Wars obsessives of any age.

Through a succession of scenes from the Star Wars universe (The Death Star, Ewok Village, Mos Eisley, Cloud City and eleven more), drawn intricately and with delightful nods towards the movies, the reader gets to scan the crowds to find everyone’s favourite Wookie, Chewbacca.

Older followers of the movies will thrill at the opportunity to pore over Farinas’ detailed drawings and spot the many familiar characters and scenes – not to mention the occasional intentional comedy incongruity, whilst youngsters will just love the search for Chewbacca, and to increase the fun there are a myriad of other characters to find in each picture, including Bounty Hunter Boba Fett, Han Solo and the Millenium Falcon, and Greedo. At the end of the book there are further lists of even harder-to-find characters for the really advanced (Ewok in a bowler hat, for instance, in the Ewok Village).

There’s no doubt Disney have gone over the top in their merch barrage to celebrate the new movie release this week, and it’s pleasing to see that some of it is good quality and can justify it’s existence, like this fun book.
