Not to be confused with 1995 compilation album of the same name, this Born to Touch Your Feelings is a new compilation of ballads spanning Scorpions’ career and including a few alternate and new tracks.

Big hits and crowd favourites Winds Of Change, Still Loving You, Holiday, When The Smoke Is Going Down, Lady Starlight and the title track all appear in remastered, unplugged or re-recorded versions, while there’s new tracks Melrose Avenue and Always Be With You, and a brand new acoustic version of Send Me An Angel, so there’s enough non-album tracks here to make it a must for any collector.

For casual fans, it may not be so necessary: 78 ¼ minutes of Scorpions ballads, it must be said, becomes a bit of a slog, and you’re left wishing for Rock You Like A Hurricane or Blackout to bring the mood up.
