Alice Cooper is back on the road on the Paranormal Tour. A sold out crowd welcomed his stop in Indy with fans spanning generations, many of which were dressed up in official gear with full eye black makeup. With no supporting act, he took the stage early as the crowd rose to their feet. Risers dropped a pyro technic backdrop as he dropped his cape and started “Brutal Planet.” His band was an old fashioned in your face rock group with three guitarists, a bass player and a drummer. Alice looked and sounded incredible throughout the night being the quintessential showman. Mid set everyone left the stage as Nita Strauss ripped into her guitar solo. The crew returned with his classic “Poison.” The band later on performed an a capella version of “I Love the Dead.” Alice completed the night with his smash hits “I’m 18” and “School’s Out.” His amazing career now spans 50 years. He celebrated his 70th birthday last month and still shows no signs of slowing down. The crowd witnessed a truly classic rock star that continues to put on one of the best live shows. He is an absolute must see for any fan of true rock and roll.
