On October 14, 2016, guitarist / singer-songwriter / actor Mark Collie will celebrate the release of his album Mark Collie & His Reckless Companions: Alive At Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary (Eagle Rock Entertainment) with a special performance / signing at the famed Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The show begins at 7:00PM, followed by an in-store signing at 9:15PM.

An esteemed songwriter who has penned tunes for Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Aaron Tippin, George Jones, and Alabama, Mark Collie’s honky-tonk-meets-rockabilly style has earned him five major label albums and sixteen songs on the “Hot Country Songs” chart. Additionally, Collie stars on the hit TV series Nashville.

Alive At Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary captures Mark Collie & His Reckless Companions performing at one of Tennessee’s most notorious penal institutions (which closed in 2009). Collie (inspired by country icon / close friend Johnny Cash) wrote and presented brand new songs specifically for this performance, designed to heal the souls of the incarcerated audience members in attendance.

Alive At Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary will be released on CD, 2LP, and Digital Formats on October 14.

The Grand Ole Opry is located at 2804 Opryland Drive in Nashville, TN 37214.
