Starting off the night, opening act Judah and the Lion set the mood for Ben Rector with upbeat music and wild dance moves that engaged the entire audience. It was a sold out show, and everyone was on their feet as Ben Rector kicked things off on the piano. He played songs from his new album, Brand New, as well as familiar hits such as “When A Heart Breaks” and “When I’m With You”. Mid show, Rector took a stage break, connecting with individuals as he ran amongst the crowed singing a cover of the popular band One Direction’s “Steal My Girl”. Silencing the crowd, the song “Men That Drive Me Places” was performed with such strong emotion by Rector as he states that’s he’s half the man than those who drive him places. As the show came to a close Rector was honest with the crowd and joked about how all concerts have “fake” encores. The entire band left the stage and came back once again to end the show with the song “White Dress”. The crowed roared with applause for another amazing show on Rector’s The Brand New Tour.
