Former Goodie Bill Oddie has long been an avid birdwatcher and wildlife enthusiast, hosting multiple programs on British television, as well as publishing many columns, blogs, musings and books on these subjects.
In Bill Oddie Unplucked he collects all sorts of snippets and short to medium length pieces together – fifty in all – which represent some of his best writings over the past twenty years.
Together this almanac provides a gentle, amusing and interesting way to while away the days. Each article is short enough to devour as a stand-alone piece, and tales of the comedian trespassing through a nunnery, wading in sewage, being scared half to death by a tiger or doing what he loves best – watching birds – are always entertaining.
