Ruby’s Mind was the first release from these guys, at the time considered the great alt-metal hope in this country, with singer Adam Pringle and bassist Nina Grant driving the ship forwards.
The title track is a great collision of melody, power and style, ably backed up by an excellent cover of Hendrix’s Crosstown Traffic, the quite good Madlands and a ‘Fascist Radio Edit’ of the title track.
They would release two more EPs before rebranding as Mantissa, then a couple more albums before folding in 1996. I wonder what happened to them, as they were very talented folks…
