In his latest podcast, Paul Mecurio (The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart) asks former Beatle, Paul McCartney, where the confidence came from to radically change the band’s sound and direction when they were at the peak of their popularity to create the groundbreaking album, Sgt. Pepper.

ABOUT PAUL MECURIO: Emmy and Peabody Award winner for his work on “The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart”, Mecurio is a Graduate of Georgetown Law School with high honors and previously was a Wall Street Lawyer and Investment banker at a top tier international law firm (Willkie Farr & Gallagher) and Investment Bank (Credit Suisse). After being hired by Jay Leno to write jokes for “The Tonight Show,” and living a secret double life as a Wall Street lawyer/banker by day and comedian by night, Paul left Wall Street to be a comedian.

Mecurio’s current role as host of  “The Paul Mecurio Show” on iTunes showcases his in-depth and entertaining interviewing style. Each week Mecurio talks with major celebrities and newsmakers revealing something unique about that person, while giving listeners insight into his own life and view of the world – a world he believes is out to get him and how he thinks he can change or beat that world. Paul has interviewed “A” list celebrities such as, Paul McCartney, Jay Leno, Bob Costas, Lewis Black and many more.
