Yesterday morning’s announcement that Bernard Fanning will be touring for A Day On The Green has been met with a rapturous response – but wait, there’s more!

Roundhouse Entertainment is pleased to announce that the iconic Cruel Sea will be joining Fanning at all shows nationally.

The unstoppable force that is the Cruel Sea – Tex Perkins, James Cruickshank, Dan Rumour, Jim Elliot and Ken Gormley – has been on a day on the green’s hit list for quite a while. Live performances may be sporadic these days, but the band’s collective chemistry and the swagger and power of their unmistakable grooves remains unrivalled.

The band are looking forward to making their a day on the green debut on the tour, including an evening on the green at Kings Park on Sunday November 17.

But that’s not all.

Also added to the bill is the fabulous Bob Evans. Bob, the lovable alter-ego of Jebediah frontman Kevin Mitchell, has been charming fans with his quirky solo projects for the past decade. His fourth album instalment ‘Famous Stranger’ was released in March and showcases a progressive pop sound that is downright irresistible. He’s sure to be a crowd pleaser at the upcoming concerts.

Bernard Fanning with special guests The Cruel Sea, Sarah Blasko, Bob Evans and Band Of Frequencies to open – this is a sublime line-up that is not to be missed!
