TERRY McDERMOTT Releases New Single “In Your Eyes” Today, May 24

Following his #1 iTunes Rock Single “Pictures,” singer, songwriter, musician TERRY McDERMOTT has just released a new song, “In Your Eyes,” available now at https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/in-your-eyes-single/id651702648. A snippet of the track can be heard here: http://youtu.be/6U5YgFRKSI8.

The Scottish-born rocker gained a large fan following here in the U.S. thanks to his successful run on NBC’s massive hit singing show “The Voice” where he placed second in the competition. TERRY’s first single following the show, “Pictures,” shot straight to the top of the iTunes Rock Singles chart, securing the #1 spot less than one week after it was written, much less recorded and mastered. TERRY co-wrote both “Pictures” and “In Your Eyes” with Todd Burman, formerly of Australian band Juke Kartel.

A 5-song EP titled Pictures is in the works to be released this year but before that, TERRY and his band the Bonfires–guitarist DAVE ROSSER (The Afghan Whigs), bassist ALEX SMITH (World Leader Pretend) and New Orleans drummer ERIC BOLIVAR–will head overseas for a few shows in Europe, including a stop in TERRY’s hometown of Aberdeen, Scotland. More about TERRY McDERMOTT: Terry McDermott is a singer/songwriter/musician from Aberdeen, Scotland currently residing in New Orleans, LA. Terry first entered the spotlight as part of Geffen Records recording artist Driveblind and then later as part of the band Lotus Crush.
