Forever The Sickest Kids set release date for new album
Forever The Sickest Kids are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their long-awaited new album. The album is set for release on June 25, 2013.
“This album is a culmination of a lot of hard work – it’s the longest we have worked on a release, and we are so happy to get these songs just as we wanted,” explains lead singer Jonathan Cook. “We have been wanting to do this since day one and we finally have. We can’t wait for you all to hear the new tracks!”
Recorded with producer Mike Green (All Time Low, Paramore, The Wanted), the band’s third full-length is the follow-up to their self-titled release, Forever The Sickest Kids. The Dallas, TX pop ensemble are gearing up for several performances in Austin, TX next week at SXSW 2013, ahead of a full summer on the Vans Warped Tour 2013.
The band recently performed at the NFL PLAY 60 Kids’ Day NFL Experience in New Orleans, LA during the week of Super Bowl XLVII. The band played infront of 1,500 local children and key NFL players at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center as part of NFL PLAY 60 Kids’ Day. Kicking off their partnership with the NFL earlier this year, Forever The Sickest Kids recorded and performed the theme song for NFL’s animated series NFL Rush Zone: Season Of The Guardians, on Nicktoons. NFL Rush Zone: Season Of The Guardians airs regularly Fridays at 9pm EST on Nicktoons and Saturdays at 7am EST on NFL Network. Check out the band’s video for the theme song.
