It really is a massive two day extravaganza!
However, in the spirit of the season, we here at Sunset Events and Chugg Entertainment thought the more, the merrier.
We are thrilled to be adding one of the modern era’s most gifted singer-songwriters and troubadours, the multi Grammy awarding winning Jason Mraz to the 10th Anniversary West Coast Blues ‘n’ Roots Festival.
Mraz holds some pretty impressive stats – you may have heard his signature track “I’m Yours” more than a few times. Well, it holds the record for the longest-running song in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In Australia, his hit album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. is certified double-platinum. Having last played our fair festival in 2009, Mraz will be welcomed back to Fremantle with open arms.
Joining us all the way from Spain is undoubtedly the biggest name in world music, Manu Chao. He headlined and opened the Sydney festival at the start of 2012, and was overwhelmed with the size of his following in Australia, he made it his mission to return to Australia soon.
Now, it’s mission: achieved with his return to our shores to perform exclusively at Bluesfest and for the first time ever in WA at West Coast Blues ‘n’ Roots. Having headlined major festivals around the world, such as Coachella, he will be sure to put on a truly amazing show for us in March.
Also hitting our stages at Fremantle Park, are the rocking blues of Melbourne’s Graveyard Train and local upstarts Davey Craddock and the Spectacles.
