Eric Church – Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour – Detroit, MI – October 4, 2012

| 10 October 2012 | Reply

Eric Church, along with Justin Moore and Kip Moore, invaded Detroit, MI on their Blood, Sweat, and Tears tour.  I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the buzz in the arena was a good indication of the excitement I was about to experience.  Everywhere you looked around, there were Eric Church shirts.

After being warmed up by Kip Moore and his recent hits, the crowd was ready for Justin Moore.  Justin came out and took over the stage and arena.  He hit the ground running and there was no looking back as he ran through his hits and other audience friendly tracks.  His energy was a sign of things to come, as he ran through his hits and other songs familiar to fans of his.

The real magic happened just after 9:25 pm when Eric Church hit the stage shrouded in smoke and darkness – just him and a guitar.  As the lights came up and Eric’s presence was known, the crowd went crazy.  To say there were a few beers raised high in the air would be a complete understatement.  The crowd was ready to go from the get, and he was there to please.  Song after song, Chief worked the crowd as only he can do.  His fans were on their feet from the first note until the house lights came up at the end of the set – something that can’t be said about every show out there.  Eric rocked the crowd with his twang and his swagger.  If you get the chance to witness this spectacle, don’t miss it.
