I previously reviewed the last CD from these Japanese rockers (2011’s C’Mon).  I really dug them when I didn’t understand the vocals.  Keep the great rock in place and add English lyrics and you have a real winner.

What guitarist Tak Matsumoto and vocalist Koshi Inaba have done on this release is take  some of their better rock tracks from the last few years, dropped the Japanese lyrics, and added English.  The results are stellar.  These guys really know how to construct a song, regardless of language.  The songs translate well sonically and the addition of vocals in English add to the depth and quality of the tracks.

Do yourself a favor and check these guys out.  Every time I listen to this disc, I find a new favorite song.  “Into Free” seems to be my go to track though.  Opener “Love Bomb” is another that rocks.  They all rock, but the disc opener and closer seem to really drive it home.
